Join Melissa Rivard (yoga teacher) and I for a half-day retreat nestled in the tranquil Innermost Gardens, Wellington.

Mel will take you through Vinyasa flow class and Yin classes designed to help you feel grounded and deeply connected with your body. I will take you through a mindful eating workshop aimed at cultivating awareness of your habits around food, and give you practical strategies that will bring more joy and ease into eating (and maybe life too).

Your morning includes:

  • Vinyasa Flow yoga class

  • Slow/mindful eating workshop

  • Yin yoga class

  • Lovingly made morning tea and hot drinks

TIME: 9.00am – 1.00pm

WHERE: Innermost Gardens, 31 Lawson Pl, Mount Victoria, Wellington

(Just as leaves fall to the ground in autumn, nature also reminds us to let go of the things that no longer serve us, and bring our attention back to ourselves.)

  • No prior yoga experience is required. The classes are designed for all levels, with modifications to suit your body
  • Bring a yoga mat if you have one
  • Bring a blanket (for the Yin class) if you have one. It could be a cold day – you know Wellington!
  • Bring a notepad and something to write with for the workshop
  • Settle in for a morning of slowing down and connecting to your body

Slow down. Relax.

Let go of that which doesn’t serve you anymore.
